Dr. Giulia Svizzero

Dr. Giulia Svizzero is a highly accomplished Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon with more than 22 years of clinical and surgical experience. She is a member of several leading international societies, including Sicpre (Italian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

She was awarded the prestigious Erasmus University Scholarship, completing her training at the Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Henri Mondor Hospital, Créteil University in Paris. During this period, she authored the pioneering thesis “Face Transplantation: Technique and Ethical Issues” and was part of the surgical team involved in the world’s first face transplantation. She later earned a PhD in Tissue and Transplant Engineering, contributing to advanced research in endothelial skin substitutes, wound reconstruction, and prevention.

As a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Italy, Dr. Svizzero has performed more than 2,000 surgical procedures, specializing in skin oncology, post-bariatric surgery, and breast reconstruction. She also served as the key supervisor and project manager for Melanoma Prevention and Skin Cancer initiatives with the LILT Association.

Her commitment to global health extends beyond the operating room. Dr. Svizzero is an active member of a humanitarian medical foundation in Singapore and participates annually in surgical missions across developing countries. She has also held leadership roles in the UAE, contributing to the development of advanced healthcare technologies.

With extensive experience in skin cancer and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Svizzero has cultivated a strong focus on dermatology, skin health, and aesthetic medicine. She advocates for a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that integrates surgery, injectables, regenerative medicine, stem-cell therapies, and medical devices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Throughout her career, she has served as a trainer for pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies, sharing her expertise in both clinical dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Svizzero is fluent in Italian, English, and French.
